TIBCO’s Public Sector CTO, Don Adams, has authored an article in FutureGov on event-driven applications in government. He talks about rule-based (i.e. dynamic) business processes and complex event processing in the government domain. Interestingly, it seems that CEP technology is being seen as a good solution for crossing the boundaries (event-defined interfaces) between existing IT stovepipes (which of course are particularly prevalent in the public sector).
